Instructions

Place chicken thighs in a large pot with 7 cups water.

Add onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and thyme.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.

Remove chicken, shred meat off the bone, discard skin and bones.

Add egg noodles to the broth and cook 8 minutes.

Return shredded chicken to the pot. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
